Tushek, a small firm based in Slovenia, recently announced that it will unwrap a supercar during the Top Marques Monaco auto show this coming April.
The supercar will be known as the Renovatio T500. The car is a creation of the brand founder, Aljosa Tusek and was designed following the obsession for lightweight materials and the race specifications to give that superb driving experience. The fast ride takes the shape of a convertible two-seater with a hardtop that can be removed when one pleases.
The chassis of the Renovatio T500 is crafted from an alloy made of chromium-molybdenum and has incorporated a roll cage. The body of the car is made from carbon composites and carbon fiber materials. The curb weight of the car is pretty low , tipping the scale at 2,497 pounds.
When you look at the Renovatio T500 from an angle, you might say the lines look like Lotus with the scissor doors of course from Lamborghini. The tail end of the car sports a huge spoiler which can easily be adjusted by flicking a switch.
Buyers of the Renovatio T500 has a wide range of colors to choose from. You can visit the website of Tushek to see the finish that suits you.
The interior of the car is very simple and clearly built to race. The passengers will be hugged by bucket seats. The driver also gets a panel of digital gauges which also allows him to track the time of his run. The other gauges on the dashboard include those for oil pressure, water temperature, and oil temperature.
The supercar from Slovenia will be powered by an engine from Audi. The sourced powerplant is a 4.2L 32-valve monster coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine can output 450 horsepower with a torque of 315 pound feet. Tushek claims that a 0 to 62miles/h sprint will only need 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the Renovatio T500 is claimed to be 193 miles/h.
The owner of the firm compares driving the Renovatio T500 to a night spent with a beautiful lover.
The auto show in Monaco will be having a test track so it will be nice to see how this new supercar will perform and how potential buyers can verify what the carmaker has been saying.
There is no word yet about the tag price of the Renovatio T500 nor is there an announcement about the date of delivery of the first units. We are pretty sure we can expect more information before the Monaco car show kicks off.
The company is also working on the Forego T700 believed to be another of its supercars. The vehicle is still on the development phase but should be ready by 2013.
