We all know that insurance is expensive especially if you have an Audi, but there are some things you can do to change this. So here are some special pointers for Audi car insurance. You should always look at the overall cost of the car insurance. Several companies will charge you extra for paying month by month rather than the 6 month premium. So if you can pay up front for the full year or six months you could easily save a couple hundred dollars. Another huge thing that you should do is to use a price comparison site that will allow you to compare multiple insurance companies at once. A lot of the times companies will offer you a discount of at least 10% for buying online. Not enough people take advantage of the technology that we have.

There are a few more special pointers for Audi car insurance. Before buying a new car you can ask various car insurance companies to explain all the possible factors of that vehicles insurance cost. These can range from the probability of it getting stolen to horsepower. Also when the time comes to get your insurance renewed try reapplying with your same insurance company because it’s a probability they will give you a less costly quote since you’ve been with them.

There are a few final special pointers for Audi car insurance that we have. Try to make yourself as low risk as possible by parking in a garage if you can and have an alarm on your car. Finally try driving fewer miles. Companies usually reward people less expensive rates by driving less.

Audi adds to their lineup of cars a diesel-mobilized unit of Q7 3.0 TDI. A breakthrough to date since the crossover Audi has is powered by gas—the major difference among the two releases.

But common notions dictate that Americans are so used to gasoline. The challenge for Audi now is with the buying market, will they prefer diesel?

The vehicle has turbocharged V6 engine with 3.0 liter. It has been packaged by the company as something reliable for drivers at the same time clean and fun to use. The catch is that though it has similar skins of a crossover, it is powered with diesel. This makes up to a difference of almost $3,000 compared to the old one.

With a torque that’s 405 lb-ft, some reviewers question its practicality for short distance travelers. True enough, Audi wants to prove that it sticks to the way it is packaged. With enough space in the back part of the vehicle for gears for long travel, Q7 3.0 TDI would make a good transportation for road trippers or for those who regularly take a long distance trip.

On engine talk, the unit rates at 225 horsepower. Mix that with the torque; this unit can peak at 130 mph. It can even perform from 0-60 in just 7.9 seconds. Something suburban drivers or car owners may like.

Technically, this unit is good enough. It has a low-end torque that is still satisfying.
Gas or diesel, consumers may overlook this issue. Audi chooses to dwell on issues like practicality and performance.

Audi and alternative car fuels have become a trend of its own. With Audi venturing out and trying several new fuel types to try to give consumers what they want and stay ahead of their competition.

Through research Audi and alternative car fuels are on a huge advancement trend. One fuel that Audi has explored is Ethanol or E 85. E 85 Contains 85% of ethanol and 15% of gasoline. They have developed a concept for ethanol that they could employ right away in all their markets. Another route that Audi has looked into is compressed natural gas or CNG. Audi has also been testing the concept of CNG with its new generation of A4 and A5 cars.

All of these sources of fuel are great however Audi and alternative car fuels might hit the peak with hydrogen. Hydrogen can be used in two ways and it can be used in a traditional piston engine or they could use hydrogen fuel cells. Although it might be easier to convert it to the normal piston engine, the benefits of the fuel cells are much greater. This is because the system is more efficient and produces zero pollutants. Also with hydrogen fuel cells it could potentially lead into several massive scientific discoveries.

Audi has been testing hydrogen fuel cells since 2004 in its A2H2 concept car. The hardest part for this switch for Audi and alternative car fuels is that they have to figure out how the filling station infrastructure is going to work.

Audi’s Racing Heritage goes back a long way. The Audi Quattro is a legendary car that has won many rally championships. The Quattro is based off an all wheel drive platform surprisingly. Audi was heavily criticized for using an all wheel drive system once the rally regulations started allowing them. When that time came it was the jackpot for Audi.

When looking at the Audi’s Racing Heritage it’s important to understand the Quattro as it has had a huge impact on it. No one was expecting the Quattro to go very far. However, it won its debut race and silenced all the doubters. That car also dominated the rally racing sport for another two years after that. Following the racing success of the Quattro, Audi found itself buried in excess orders of a car that was supposed to be a failure.

Since the days of the Quattro redefining Audi’s Racing Heritage, the Quattro system has been updated and is a basis for several of Audi’s cars. This has caused Audi to have a good portion of the all wheel drive market as only Subaru has even come close to matching what Audi has done. Most of the company’s current success goes back to Audi’s Racing Heritage. Having achieved success in touring and the championships of the Quattro system has set the company beyond where it was ever expected to be. Recently the company has won several races between 2000 and 2005 that will no doubt become a part of Audi’s Racing Heritage.

First presented in the US at the Detroit Motor Show in 2007, I’ve been looking at this beauty ever since… Audi claims more power output with lower fuel consumption than any of the gasoline versions currently heading sales in the US thanks to this Diesel engine producing 500 horsepower.

The looks… THE LOOKS… It’s by far the best looking Audi ever built (okay, maybe there’s an R8, … tough one ;)).

Enjoy these spectacular pics.

There are many others like you who too own Audi cars and they too are on the lookout for Audi alternative car fuels but how many people there actually know what are these Audi alternative car fuels that everyone is talking about nowadays?

One needs to know that the stocks of fuels like petrol and diesel that we are accustomed t use for running our vehicles are not going to last much longer. Their stocks are being depleted day by day and soon a time will come when not even a single drop be left anywhere in the world. Before that doomsday approaches, would it not be better if we tried to use Audi alternative car fuels?

Not only will we be doing a service to the depleting oil field, we shall also be contributing to keeping our earth green and pollution free. There are many different types of Audi alternative car fuels that are available and they include bio fuels, natural gas and electricity. In fact quite a number of cars that are available nowadays have 2 engines under their hood, one running on the normal fuel like petrol or diesel and the other running on electricity. Hence if you are thinking of shifting over to Audi alternative car fuels, you can be rest assured that your drive is not a singular one but there are many other persons like you who are chancing over to Audi alternative car fuels too.
